  1. STAT V1.0 is a program which reads a text
  2. file containing columns of numbers and
  3. calculates statistics on them (count, sum,
  4. average, standard deviation, last value,
  5. maximum, minimum, range and line number of
  6. maxium and minimum), based on specifications
  7. in a control file, and writes the results to
  8. an output file.
  9.
